official school uniform should be worn at all times, including during
examinations.
It is advisable to bring a bag to school. Jewellery, make-up and
nail varnish are not permitted in school. Coats and other outdoor
clothing should not be worn in class. Graffiti on uniform is strictly
forbidden. |

- Plain, logo free, white blouse with collar – tucked
into skirt/trousers
- Plain, dark grey or black skirt, pleated or flared (straight,
tight skirts are not allowed)
- Smart plain black trousers (corduroy, flared, denim
or canvas fashion trousers are not allowed) may be worn as an alternative
to a skirt
- School tie to be worn at all times
- Official Southmoor sweatshirt only
- Plain grey, black or fawn tights or black, grey or white ankle
socks
- Black shoes only (no trainers or boots)
- Decorative hair accessories are not allowed. Hijabs if worn
need to blend in with school uniform

- Extreme hair colouring and styles are not permitted
- Only school authorised badges and wristbands maybe worn

Casual, hooded and outdoor tops must not be worn under blazers
- Only
the official Southmoor sweatshirt should be worn underneath
blazers.
- Tracksuit tops must not be worn underneath blazers.
- Graffiti on blazers is strictly forbidden.
Form tutors should check uniform and where problems occur the Director
of Learning should be informed.
Class teachers must also question pupils about uniform and insist the proper
uniform is worn in lessons.
