picture perfect resource for you.
It is all about the amazing things I saw while on my holidays. Coupled
with this, we have a switch based 'My Amazing Photographs' competition.
So, unleash your inner snot and download the stuff (7.17mb) by clicking
the picture of me and my camera below (please give this file time as
it is a large file size) |

STUFF YOU NEED: First off, you need a sense of humour (but you've already got one of those or you wouldn't be a teacher, right?), next you need either PowerPoint XP or PowerPoint viewer which you can get free from here. INSTRUCTIONS FOR TELLING THE STORY! When telling the story you should start by getting the students comfy then say the first student's name before reading the first line, then have your willing and evil assistant to perform each sensory stimulation. Say the next student's name, repeat the line and have your henchman/henchlady perform the dastardly deed on them and so on. This heightens the anticipation and structures the session nicely. Sorry to patronise people, but I have seen sensory stories done badly and it's a waste! Most of all, have fun with it. BORING STUFF: This story is copyright to Pete Wells from Portland School in Sunderland (so a big BOO to anyone in Newcastle!). If you want to publish the story elsewhere please contact me at the address below and tell me (just so I can brag!) Have fun folks and please email me to tell me how the story went. I have over 30 more if people want them! Contact me at pete.wells1@ntlworld.com Have fun and take care of your students! Pete Wells |
