Europe Direct North East:  Europe Direct is an information service run across the European Union with a central office in Brussels and lots of regional or local centres spread across all the member states. The Global Educators' Register is a database of former VSO volunteers who have lived in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the Pacific and Caribbean regions. They are available to offer advice on promoting global awareness in schools. The site contains case studies and other materials and gives you the opportunity to find a partner school abroad. You can also arrange for global educators to visit your school and talk to your pupils.

 

 

Learning World - Each term the British Council Education and Training Group produces a magazine called Learning World. It is worth consulting for articles about international projects and for resources. You can email the British Council to be put on the mailing list, or alternatively read Learning World online
