Comenius assistants are teachers or trainee teachers who come from a European country to work in your school for between 3 months and one academic year. They are completely FREE OF CHARGE as their salary is paid by the EU. Competition to be a Comenius assistant is fierce, and so the people who are successful are always of the very highest quality. Deploy them across the school to enrich your existing curricula.

etwinning is part of Comenius, the EU's programme for schools.It is the Community for schools in Europe. Teachers from all participating countries can register and use the eTwinning online tools (the Portal and the Desktop) to find each other, meet virtually, exchange ideas and practice examples, team up in Groups, learn together in Learning Events and engage in online-based projects. DfID Global School Partnerships are links between schools in the UK and schools in one of the countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America or the Caribbean. The initiative is funded by the Department for International Development and managed by the British Council. There is full information on the DfID website.
