About us

Uniform

We have tried to create a uniform that is simple, flexible and affordable. It remains school policy that uniform should be worn and the school retains the right to refuse entry to students improperly dressed. Parents are advised to write their child’s name on all items of uniform and equipment. All students are requested to carry a suitable bag and to come equipped with planner, pen, pencil and ruler.

GIRLS
Black blazer with school badge in Year colour
Black tie with diagonal gold stripe
Black skirt of appropriate length or, full length formal trousers, not jeans.
White blouse which fastens up to formal collar
Black plain ‘v’ neck jumper, cardigan or ‘v’ neck school sweatshirt
White or black socks or black tights
Black formal shoes NO TRAINING SHOES

BOYS

SUMMER VARIATION
In the months of May, June and July, students can elect to wear a sky blue polo shirt with school logo and year group colour. These are available in fitted and non-fitted styles. This top replaces shirt, tie, jumper and blazer. The school blazer can however be worn as outer wear. All other items of uniform remain the same.

The P.E. Kit (except these items*) is only available through the school supplier. Order forms are available from P.E. department, School Reception and Student Services.

For DT/FT – Apron required

Stud earrings which are flat to the ear may be worn. All other items of jewellery, with the exception of a watch, must not be worn in school.

*These items cannot be ordered from the school supplier.

Please note:
• Trousers and skirts should not be made of denim or corduroy.
• School Planner and a school bag must be carried at all times
• Hats must be removed upon entry to school buildings.
• Overcoats may be worn. Hooded tops, tracksuit tops and denim coats are unsuitable as overcoats and are not allowed on the school premises.

Certain items of uniform, including ties, badges, school sweatshirts and aprons of both types can be bought from the School Reception at any time during the year.
