Dance FestivalFarringdon Community Sports College dance department was very proud to present the second annual dance festival. After the success of last year's festival, we expected great things! All of the performers worked long and hard in preparation for the two evenings, which resulted in two wonderful demonstrations of the schools dancing talents.
The entertainment was provided by Farringdon's three outstanding dance clubs, and also from the Y10 and Y11 GCSE dance students. The Y11 students were all assessed as part of their GCSE performance mark on the evening and all achieved excellent marks ranging from C-A*!!
We were also very lucky to introduce the 'next generation' of Farrringdon dancers. Young performers from our partner primary schools also performed during the evening with breathtaking costumes and acrobatics.
The whole evening was a hugh success and raised £250 for Chess. |
