Dance Festival

FARRA ROCKS AND ROLLS (AND ALL THAT JAZZ!)

On November 28th and 29th Farringdon Community Sports College proudly presented its 3rd Annual Dance Festival. After the success of last year’s festival, we were looking forward to another exciting and colourful occasion. All the dances were inspired by events from American history and culture - Jazz, Rock ‘N’ Roll and Street Dance were just some of the dances to light up the stage.
All of the performers worked long and hard in preparation for the evening, the entertainment came from Farringdon’s three outstanding after-school dance clubs, and also the GCSE and BTEC Dance students who will were assessed on their performances during the evening.

We were also very lucky to have the ‘next generation’ of local dancing talent joining us. Young performers from our partner primary schools will be showcased their fantastic talents for our enjoyment too.
The evening was a fantastic success and we look forward to next years festival. If you would like to be involved in the after school dance clubs please see Miss Williams in the PE Department.
