Governors of the school

At September 2008 the Governors were:
Cllr P Gibson (Chairman, L.E.A.), Mrs G Hossack (Vice Chair, parent) Mr C Bate (L.E.A.), Mr R Lane (L.E.A.), Mrs P Wilkinson (L.E.A.), Mrs M Blacklock (co-opted), Mr W Stoddart (co-opted), Mrs A Hagon (parent), Mr J Robe (associate), Miss J Reay (teacher), Mrs R O’Brien (teacher), Mr G Brown (co-opted), Head Girl (associate), Head Boy (associate), Mr J McDonald (parent) and Mr G Sleep (parent).

The full Governing Body meets at least once each term. There are sub-committees for personnel, finance, salaries, buildings, curriculum and pastoral issues. Parents are welcome to attend, except when confidential matters are being discussed. Details of meetings appear in the regular newsletter sent to parents.

All governors serve a 4-year term.
