Welcome to Sunderlands Autism Outreach Team

The Autism Outreach Team is based at Columbia Grange School, which has achieved
recognised success in the provision of education of pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This success, in terms of behaviour management and curriculum development is shared, in order to support pupils attending mainstream schools-to deliver quality outreach services and training in the field of ASD-so that wherever possible, and where parents want it, pupils can successfully attend their local mainstream school.

The Autism Outreach Team works with the Local Authority (LA) and all stakeholders to develop ASD provision in the city.
