Barbara Priestman School
• Barbara Priestman was originally an
all-age school for the physically
disabled. The inclusion agenda has
changed the population of the school
and the majority of pupils are now of
secondary age and have ASD. Pupils
can stay at the school until they are
19 years of age.
• There are presently 90 pupils on roll and a small number of intervention / assessment places.
• The school works in partnership with the lead secondary ASD provision at Farringdon.
• The Head of the school works in partnership with the AOT and the local authority to develop autism provision across the city.
